Obligation to report

A public official of the Authority is subject to an obligation to report under section 376 (2) of Act XC of 2017 if it becomes aware of a criminal offence subject to public prosecution within its powers.
The basis for a complaint can be a concrete case, e.g. a circumstance revealed following a complaint or a report. Furthermore, the Authority may also reveal anomalies and file a complaint in relation to the use of European Union funds during the investigation procedure.
