Ferenc Pál Biró

President

Born in 1974 in Budapest.

Studies

In 1998 he graduated with a BA degree from the International Business School of Budapest. In 2011 he became a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and in 2014 he became a Certified Healthcare Compliance Officer.

Career

He started his professional career in 1998 as an audit associate at KPMG, first in Hungary and later in Germany (Frankfurt am Main).
Since 2004, he had been an internal auditor (Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, and the United States) at Avery Dennison Corporation.
From 2006, he was Compliance Officer for the Bristol-Myers Squibb Group in Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria. In 2007, he joined Ernst & Young, a global consulting firm, where he reached Partner level in 2012.

In 2020, he joined PwC Central & Eastern Europe as a partner. He led fact-finding and compliance services teams in Hungary and neighbouring countries, including Romania and the Balkans.

Tímea Holbusz

Vice President

Born in 1982 in Miskolc.

Studies

In 2006, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

Career

From 2006 to 2008 she was assistant auditor at PKF Könyvvizsgáló Kft., and from 2008 to 2013 she was controller of AXA Bank Europe SA.

Since January 2014, she had been a member of the National Audit Authority for EU Grants, (EUTAF).

Deputy Director from 2015, then Director of the Directorate for Special Investigations from 2018, and later Deputy Director-General of EUTAF.

Vice-Chair of the Integrity Authority since November 2022.

Dr. Kálmán Dabóczi

Born in Mohács in 1970.

Studies

He graduated in Economics from the Faculty of Business Administration, Budapest University of Economics and Business Administration in 1993 with a degree in Management and Marketing. He obtained his Master of Laws degree in Economics from the Eötvös Lóránd University of Sciences in 1997. In 2000 he defended his doctoral dissertation in the Management PhD programme of the Postgraduate Faculty of Management at the Budapest University of Economics and Public Administration. In 2007, he passed the public administration exam.

Career

1995-2000. PhD student, research fellow at the Department of Applied Economics, Budapest University of Economics and Business.

In 1999, he was an advisor to MOL Rt. for almost a year.

From 2001 he worked as Accounting Director and General Deputy to the Chief Financial Officer of Magyar Posta TETRA Rt.

Since 2003 he has been a communications consultant and later business development director of Béres Investment Ltd., among other positions in the group.

From 2006, he led and supervised the domestic public transportation sector as the head of department at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Transportation.

From 2011, as General Deputy to the CEO at the CTI Institute of Transport Studies Nonprofit Ltd. he built up and led the Transport Science Business Unit and the Strategic Projects Directorate

Between 2015 and 2019, he served as the CEO and a member of the Board of Directors at BKK Budapest Transport Center Plc.

At the beginning of 2020, he returned to the CTI Institute of Transport Sciences, where he helped to develop the Hungarian transport system as a project management manager.

Vice-Chair of the Integrity Authority since November 2022.
