“On the Right Path” research programme

On the Right Path is a nationwide research programme by the Integrity Authority, aimed at examining the social, economic and institutional conditions that support fair, transparent and lawful operations.

The programme consists of three interconnected surveys: a population survey, a survey involving economic organisation executives, and a survey involving public service officials. Together, they provide a comprehensive understanding of how citizens, economic actors and public-sector employees perceive the use of European Union funds, the transparency of institutional operations, the conditions for fair competition, public trust, and the factors that support or hinder responsible conduct.

The findings of the research programme help underpin the Integrity Authority’s reports, recommendations and professional proposals, and contribute to strengthening a more transparent, predictable and secure institutional and economic environment.

In addition, the research explores broader public perceptions of integrity and corruption, as well as people’s direct and indirect experiences in these areas.
