Population Survey on the Effectiveness and Irregularities of the Use of European Union Funds
The Integrity Authority conducted a large-scale, representative survey of the Hungarian population aged 18 and over to examine public perceptions of the effectiveness of the use of European Union funds and related irregularities in Hungary. In addition to this topic, the study also explores broader public perceptions of integrity and corruption, as well as people’s direct and indirect experiences in these areas.
The aim of the research is to establish a nationwide survey programme that, at regular intervals, examines the views and experiences of Hungarian society regarding the above topics. The findings are intended to provide empirical support for, and further strengthen, the conclusions and recommendations formulated in the reports and recommendations of the Integrity Authority, thereby contributing to cleaner, more transparent and corruption-free public life and institutional functioning.
