What sort of decisions and orders may be issued following a motion for revision submitted by the Authority?

Following a motion for revision submitted by the Authority, the investigating authority, the public prosecutor’s office, and the court may make and issue the following decisions and orders:
- If the motion for revision is deemed to be well-founded by the public prosecutor’s office or investigating authority rejecting the complaint or making a conclusive decision that terminated the investigation, it proceeds to abrogate the decision and order the continuation of the investigation or proceedings.
- Otherwise, it proceeds to present the motion and the documents to the public prosecutor’s office in the case of a decision made by the investigating authority, or to the superior public prosecutor’s office in the case of a decision made by the public prosecutor’s office.
- If the presented motion for revision is deemed to be well-founded, the public prosecutor’s office or superior public prosecutor’s office proceeds to abrogate the decision and order the continuation of the investigation or proceedings.
- Otherwise, it proceeds to send the motion and the documents, along with any eventual observations, to the court for assessment.
- If the motion for revision is deemed to be well-founded by the competent court, it proceeds to abrogate the contested decision. Therefore, the investigation is launched or a proceeding continues without a separate decision.
- Otherwise, the court proceeds to reject the motion for revision.
